Advancing gender equality in our field is a critical issue, and one we take very seriously at Youssef & Partners (Youssef + Partners), particularly as a firm operating in the Middle East. Our team has a higher proportion of female practitioners than any in the region, with over 70% female lawyers.

The key objectives of the pledge are:

  1. to improve the profile and representation of women in arbitration; and
  2. to appoint women as arbitrators on an equal opportunity basis.
