Dr. Karim Youssef leads the international arbitration and international law practices at Youssef & Partners. Karim’s practice focuses on commercial arbitration, investment treaty arbitration and international law, and is world-renowned in these fields.

Karim represents Egyptian, regional and international clients in high-profile local, regional and purely international disputes, and large-value and complex claims, across a wide array of key industries. Karim has featured and continues to feature as counsel or arbitrator in some of the highest-profile and largest commercial and investment treaty claims in the region.

Karim was educated at Yale Law School, Paris 1 (Sorbonne) and Cairo universities.

Mohamed Farouk

Mr. Farouk’s practice focuses on litigation and arbitration-related court proceedings. He is a seasoned litigator with more than 25 years of experience. He has extensive experience in litigating all types of commercial and civil matters. He pleads cases before all types of and levels of courts, including trial and first instance courts, appellate courts and appellate divisions, the Court of Cassation, and the Constitutional Court of Egypt. He appears, in the context of high-profile representation, before specialized courts, including economic courts, tax courts and criminal courts. He also has outstanding experience in managing and litigating labor disputes.
