Amr Azzam is a corporate and commercial lawyer who brings a wealth of expertise to his role as Counsel and Head of Compliance at Youssef + Partners.
Amr has extensive experience advising businesses of all sizes, from family businesses to financial institutions, investors, and Egyptian and multinational clients on a wide range of legal and corporate matters. This includes mergers and acquisitions, liquidation, restructuring, corporate governance, compliance, general corporate, and fintech matters in Egypt. He has special expertise in negotiating complex commercial contracts, including joint ventures, shareholder agreements, loans and syndicated loans, and all types of commercial guarantees, and in advising clients on compliance and regulatory issues. Amr also focuses on transactions related to the acquisition and sale of Egyptian companies, as well as in structuring and M&As.
He received his LLB from Cairo University Law School in 2009 and his LLM degree from AASTMT in “International Legal Commercial Transactions & Logistics”.
